I love this story, but still it’s so classist!
It makes sense considering the times is supposed to be set in, but seeing it from the perspective of a modern person living in a democratic republic, the type of reasoning that divides treatment between nobility and common people is really appalling. It sends a shiver down my spine every time Paula, Vincent or any of the characters just takes for granted this supposed divide is true.
Still, it doesn’t take away from my enjoyment of this amazing story!
90% of these manhwa stories are classist. It\’s the childhood story written as an adult. Princesses, duchesses, countesses, etc. And even then, the class system is what drives the story forward.
Vincent came across as smarmy and then overbearing. I get he\’s the master but is he hoping to carry that dynamic into any romantic relationship with Paula?
That scenario felt weird.

I\’m going to take a guess and say the guy who was sneaking around this episode and the possible killer was the former butler. Just a gut feeling.
Mine is johnny. I don\’t know. The guy just seems so suspicious to me since the letting Paula borrow the golden ink. The story did not make it clear where he got it from especially when Vincent cleared that it\’s only available to the Christopher house.
