I guess Iβm psycho-analyzing this. Whatβs really sad is that Diana does truly love that other girl, too in a way. Maybe not as a daughter, but as a child that was used and shaped by the bad environment that created her. They may not even realize it themselves. Diana and Aysel are also hurt and distrusting. However, the girl doesn\βt really know how to treat unconditional love and might only accept it only when it\βs useful to her. Or become jealous of how close that bio mom and daughter are compared to her own. Like I said Diana may not “love” her as a daughter, but truly cares and shows concern for her as any sane person would. Then, sheβll grow up to lose all trust in others thinking it’s all transactional, and keep her bio mom and dadβs cycle going. At the same time, Diana and Aysel might hurt her in their revenge process, realize they were wrong and consumed by rage and betrayal, and scar her to where she wouldnβt be able to accept a genuine apology. (Thinking everyone is the same and unable to change like her bio paraents).
I also like how this ML is supportive and helps in the bg so far. I like how the relationship is developing slowly and naturally, vs. Aysel calling him dad right away just because she looks up to him. It could be because she\’s older compared to other stories with a kid. I think Diana and ML will do a friends to lovers type thing which is refreshing.
